The Japanese constructor revealed at the Auto Salon from Sydney an improved version of the Mazda 3 MPS. For the fans of Mazda model, the Auto Salon from Sydney started with a huge surprise. It was revealed an improved version of the performance model Mazda 3 MPS, nicknamed Extreme. Hatchback received modifications at engine level, suspensions level and exhaust system, the extreme version being capable to achieve a high level of performance.
Looking at exterior the changes are little, the aggressive look is assured by the black vinyl positioned over the red paint True Red, black bossages, smoky glass, black roof and the rear aileron. The exclusivist design is completed by 19 inch BBS Motorsport rimes with special logo MPS.

The 4 cylinders propeller of 2,3 l DISI develops now 281 hp at 5300 rpm and a torque of 425 Nm at 4400 rpm. Extra power has been obtained once with the modified PCM (Power Control Module) system and replacement of exhaust.
Stability of the car will be assured by the Dunlop Sports tires of 225/35ZR19 and a brand new suspension package from Coote, a company with tradition on market and experience in the Australian rally. To stop the hatchback of 281 hp, the driver will receive help from ventilated discs of 320 mm on front and 280 mm on back as excellent braking systems as: ABS with 4 channels, EBD and electronic assistance on braking.
Safeness is assured by the dynamic system control of stability and traction but the 6 airbags carry an important role too (frontal, lateral and curtain). Inside driver and passengers will enjoy black leather tapestry.
About the performances of new Mazda 3 MPS Extreme, the Japanese constructor didn’t publish details, but it is already known that older version of hatchback got a time of 8 minutes and 39 seconds on the circuit from Nurburgring.
