The brand new Audi A3 Cabriolet is launched
Elegant, sportive Audi Cabriolet A3 awaits us in shops from the spring of 2008 (sales will begin in february – Germany). It will be equipped with 4 types of different engines and with some new kits which we will have to choose.
The new Cabriolet without the convertible seems lighter but when the convertible is activated is like a shine of the sun on road, gives the slight impression of Coupe model. It’s convertible can activated in 9 seconds using the hydraulics. Hood represents a new thing, it can be found in the automatic and the semi-automatic models. This car doesn’t disappoint when looking at the it’s security, can be certainly considered one in which persons find themselves in safe in any situation. The materials which are in the body of car are represented by hard-strength steel and some other reinforcement parts.
Looking at it’s technical specifications from outside it has 4238 mm length, 1756 mm width, 1424 mm height. This measurements place it in sport compact class. Precision and perfection can be see on the Audi’s logo. The headlights beneficiate of the Xenon technology which with the system Dynamic Adaptive Lights give a very good and crisp light. The Attraction choice is equipped 16 inch rims, the Ambition variant having 17 inch rims made of aluminum. The 18 inch rims from Quattro GmbH can be bought only at the client’s request, optionally. Audi offers for this model a wide pallet of colors. The top of the car can be painted only in 3 colors: black, blue and red. The top can be rose even when the vehicle travels has a speed of 30km/s, with the help of just pressing a button on the board. The top can be activated too from outside.It’s inside is typically the best which Audi provides to it’s models. With calm lines and large surfaces the Cabriolet just sucks people eyes inside.
The four airvents and other devices remember of Audi TT model. When it is chosen the Ambition model it comes with three rungs covered with leather. In the front seats are implemented technologies with medical purposes or warm up for all the seats. The back seats can be put in the 50:50 position for giving more space to luggage. The motorizing 1.9 TDI gives 105hp and a hefty of 250 N/m available from just 1900 rpm it is the first Diesel used by Audi for a Cabriolet model. On the road it uses something around 5.1l at 100 km. Maximum full speed is 185 km/h while it can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 12.3 seconds. Another engine diesel is the 2.0 l TDI 16 V.
