Gm presented long waited Chevrolet Corvette ZR1, a sports car of 620 hp and 810 Nm. After many years of waiting General Motors presented today the new Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 model, that intends to be the best supercar in entire world.
Corvette ZR1 is the performance model that grew from roots of Corvette C6. ZR1 will be exposed to public in January once with opening of the Auto Salon from Detroit.

Novelty bought by Corvette ZR1 can be found under it’s hood. We are talking about LS9 engine, with a capacity of 6,2 l and produces at least 620 hp at 6500 rpm. Thanks to a over altimenter the LS9 engine could reach 650 hp. Maximum torque of ZR1 is 810 Nm at 4000 rpm. Corvette ZR1 is capable to reach the speed of 100km/h in about 3 seconds and reach it’s maximum speed of 320 km/h, as American engineers say.
General Motors engineers praised their model, especially LS9 propeller because of ratio between power-mass (100 hp/l). “From this point of view, ZR1 is better than Ferrari 599, Porsche 911 GT2 or Lamborghini LP640. Actually we are expecting like ZR1 to be the first Corvette that reaches 200 mph”, declared Ed Peper, Chervolet official. Exterior design of new model doesn’t differentiate too much from Corvette philosophy. Newness come from the used materials, especially carbon fiber, that covers a big part of frontal components and roof. Extremely visible are the aggressive lines of ZR1, intended to bring an aerodynamic appropriate behavior. As a weirdness, engine bonnet is provided a window that offers a view over the engine and helps it cooling down.
Anterior part of model presents the classic shape of Corvette, and as a special element there can be seen the 4 exits of exhaust system. Price at which is estimated Corvette ZR1 is about 100 000$

SLK 55 AMG is now more dynamic: new front spoiler and darken projectors give this unique roadster with a very good engine of 8 cylinders a more athletic impression. Impression that can be felt on road and when it is parked too.

Technicians say that maneuverability was optimized too for a better response to driver commands. For the first time, car disposes a new turn system with servo variable assistance, that makes the 360 hp car more agile and maneuverable. Under the impressive hood can be found an AMG engine of 8 cylinders of 5,5 l, that can reach 360 hp and maximum torque of 510 Nm. Car accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4,9 seconds and reaches 200 km/h in 17,5 seconds, stopping at electronically limited speed of 250 km/h. Car’s power is connected to wheels by AMG SPEEDSHIFT 7G-TRONIC admission.

It has a functional interior and denotes sportsmanship, here referring at ergonomic steering wheel in Mercedes star shape, lined with leather. Speed indicator numbers rise to 320 km/h, and sport seats hold a tapestry and custom shape adapted for dangerous turns.

Everybody waits a new Ferrari model which should appear at Auto Salon from Frankfurt. The launch has reserved 2 surprises from the little horse. Don’t be worried concerning the name: from performances point of view the car is as you expected to be – capable to eat a Gallardo Superleggera at breakfast.
First it must be said that Ferrari presented first official information about their new model that will be revealed at Auto Salon from Frankufrt, and the second information is that the new model isn’t Challenge Stradale or Dino, as expected by everybody, it is F430 Scunderia.
Taking a quick look the Italian jewel is Challenge Stradale model, presented in some spy photos. The only notable difference is name.

On 11 september, at Frankfurt, Michael Schumacher will present new F430 Scunderia that will join with Spider and Coupe the family of F430.
Last masterwork came from Maranello presents a V8 of 4,3 l, which generates a power of 510 hp at 8500 rpm. Italian supercar weighs 1250 kg, mass that gives an impressive report power/mass of 1hp at 2,45 kg.
New things bought by Scunderia model in F430 family can be found at technical chapter. Ferrari realized for Scunderia a new exhaust system and a new package of traction control, that combines in a singular technological entity E-diff systems ( electronic differential ), traction control and traction system F1-Trac. Nissan Forum, a concept for family transport, more attractive, for driver and for passengers, with a wide area of new ideas, will be presented to public in world premiere at Auto Salon from Detroit, in January 2008.

Nissan Forum, a design study developed by Nissan Design America, represents next step in evolution of family transport. Answering the challenge to create a more attractive family vehicle, for the driver and for passengers, Forum offers a gamut new ideas – starting with lateral doors and elimination of type B pylons, and continuing with a modern interior, with 3 rows of seats that can have multiple positioning and the last generation of communication and entertaining system.

Two independent areas in one cabin
As the name suggests, Forum was designed as a “meeting place”, bringing together adults and children in two independent “areas”, but interconnected, with 7 seats. Having as main target families with big children, that not only can’t entertain themselves, but they can ask for this, Forum respecting their needs and wishes, no matter what they are parents or children
In frontal part can be found adults area, with advanced controls of information technology and seats with special design for driving pleasure. Back area is dedicated for children, where they can feel comfortable and have fun. Advanced technology of Nissan Forum concept ties the two areas, creating an unique familiar space.
”Starting from concept, Forum is more closely to a family limousine than minivan Gen Xers. But the difference from a real limousine, or traditional minivans, the driver has the same importance like it’s passengers”, said Rachel Nguyen, department director of Advanced Planning and Strategy from Nissan North America, Inc.: “Offers a sophisticated space for adults and dedicated space for children, allowing both groups enjoy each one in it’s way, being same time connected in a single vehicle. As any Nissan, dramatic concept Forum combines passionate driving, emotional design and abundance of advanced friendly technologies.”

Exterior design taken to maximum

Design innovation of Nissan Forum concept, include doors with wide opening, without type B pylons – creating an exceptional access area for 2,3 rows of seat. Front doors open at 90 degrees and combined with lateral ones that coulisse create a wide opening for the back passengers. Glass roof Sky View, made from more panes, offers light for inside. At exterior can be remarked too the headlights and stops with LED technology, the design of hood is accentuated, alloy rims with 6 spokes and tires with low profile as the double exhaust.

High – tech interior
Inside the car, Forum concept gets life. Tapestry is made from leather with aluminum and wood decorations, offering the front cabin comfort and full control. “Floating” instruments combine perfectly with latest technologies for communication with simple and intuitive controls. Main board includes dual climatize, Bluetooth technologies and a microwave for making popcorn.
Seats can rotate completely, at 180 degrees, creating a familial style for 5 passengers. Second row of seats is controlled by a usage of monitor mounted on floor. When whirl moment comes, main board rises and the 2 seats close each other. In same time front seats coulisse forward to make place for the spin.

Together with technology
Inside of Nissan Forum concept is the place where the new technologies in communications and entertainment meet. Surveillance of kids from back of cabin is assured by a video monitoring system, “Kids Cam” which utilizes video cameras placed in back of seats from 2,3 rows, images being transmitted to the display in main board. “Time Out” system, controlled by driver with just a simple steering wheel button press, can stop the sound from all audio sources in vehicle, allowing a better communication with all occupants.
Nissan Forum offers too a multimedia system Bose, that combines entertaining with clever design. System includes radio link through satellite, space for stocking multimedia materials on hard disk, DVD, iPod interface, Bluetooth, hands – free and navigation. Audio system Bose is formed from stereo speakers which volume can adjust individually for each of 3 rows of seats.

Respect for environment
Efficacy and intelligent facilities of the concept Nissan Forum design extend over the engine. Through design and it’s functionality, you think that engine will be a clean one, diesel, or will have the necessary technologies with environment.
“Nissan announced previously that will offer a diesel engine in United States, for new Nissan Maxima generation, so a similar propeller will be taken in consideration for a vehicle as Forum”, said Campbell.

New Mazda6 close to Taiki concept equipped with next generation of rotary engines, Mazda5 Hydrogen RE Hybrid and new technologies for safety and protection of surrounding environment will be presented by Mazada Motor Corportation at Tokyo.

Mazda Taiki Concept is a revolution of Mazda Nagare, Mazda Ruya and Mazda Hakaze. Taiki takes out new technologies (a new generation of rotary engines) and higher aerodynamic performances caused by it’s design. This concept establishes new ideas and standards about coupe super sport with engine placed in front and rear traction.
