Lotus Europa SE

 

   The new Lotus Europa SE has been revealed featuring increased levels of comfort, topping the Exige and Elise. The SE has been developed for a certain relaxed driving style but still keeps a good performance. The SE has an improved two liter turbocharged engine that was 222 horsepower and with 221 lb-ft. It can accelerate from 0 to 60 in 5.5 seconds and has an approximately top speed of 143 mph (230 km/h).The mid-mounted 2 liter turbo charged engine has a better calibration to 225 PS and with 300 Nm of pure torque to give easy cruising capability.
   Europa SE has a pair of four pot breaks and 308 mm diameter disks by AP Racing witch are covered by the new 17” wheels in the front and 18” in the rear. The slim body work and the flat underbody generates positive down force witch provides balance while handling at speed. Europa has race car derived double wishbone suspension, attracting new wheels and for higher levels of grip, high performance tires.

The new Europa SE sits at the more refined end of the Lotus spectrum, providing a terrific mix of performance, agility and style, but incorporates Lotus‘s values and heritage”.

Lotus made its signature on the SE with four stylish hides of high quality leather for the owner’s tactile pleasure. Like all 08’ Lotus cars The Europa SE comes with airbags, a standard button for the engine startup and a high quality stereo system.

This fine piece of machinery can be yours for 41,500 euro without having to pay taxes, delivery & other related costs. Although Europa SE has been produced for European customers only, it will be available to a much larger audience all over Europe starting with June 2008.
