Being in a sports car is quite one, especially when it is quite small. It reflects how a company has managed to produce a fast rather small car. And really in the market place the competition for these types of cars is really high. Designing and producing is one thing but giving it out in a low cost is not easy at all. But the manufacturer has made it look quite simple with their MR2.The MR2 has been designed to be quite a brilliant sports car. Small and work efficient is all the MR2 is about. The body has been made mostly out of aluminum alloy making the MR2 lighter than other sport cars. The MR2 includes air vents on the front fender along with the side doors. The MR2 also is supported by an automatic soft top which is stored at the rear compartment which can be used for the storage of other luggage too. The V edition features custom wheels different from the basic MR2 and modified body panels. The interior features a 6 disk player and also is given a titanium accent for the looks.
The engine of the MR2 has been made all aluminum and is known by the name of IZZ-FED. Being an I4 the engine technically is of 1794 cc. Dual overhead camshafts have been used increasing the performance and the camshaft timings are also adjustable. The engine gives out 138 units of horsepower which are transmitted to the wheels using a 6-speed manual transmission. The MR2 accelerates from 0-60 mph in 7.5 seconds using the engine and due to the light weight can manage to go quicker. The MR2 proves to be a sports car but unfortunately has stopped from production. And we will really miss it, Right?
