The Renault Twingo is a utility body with three doors. Given its length (3.60 m), is among half a Citroën C1 (3.49 m) and a C2 (3.66 m), for its dynamic qualities, range of engines, equipment and price, it seems much more to a C2. It is on sale since summer 2007, with three petrol engines of 58, 75 and 101 hp (101 hp version is turbo) and a 65 hp diesel. In 2008, Renault made three major changes in the range: added a version of 133 hp Twingo RS, Twingo modified gasoline engine of 1.2 liter engine capacity and 75 CV, to reduce consumption from 5.7 to 5 1 l/100 km (more info) and added stability control only some versions (which have equipment “Night & Day”). It is a decision that many variants of the Twingo still not able to take this security system. In January 2009, Renault has increased the variety of diesel engines for the Twingo, with a 86 hp (although Renault refers to it as 1.5 dCi 85 hp). With this engine, giving a performance much faster than the 65 hp and diesel consumption is lower (comparative tab). Spends 4.0 litres/100 km, which is very little. In equal equipment, the Twingo between 86 hp and 65 hp, there is a price difference of 650 €. Paying the premium may be worth to somebody out of town frequently.
