Fiat 500 is an iconic model of Italian automobile manufacturing company Fiat. As per the engine is concerned, the customer has three different choices, a 1.2 or 1.4-liter petrol or a 1.3-liter diesel. All the 3 are borrowed from 500’s sibling Fiat Panda. 500 is especially good for city drive. Because its Urban-friendly dimensions, Fiat 500 is the best car to drive through traffic on crowded city streets during peak hours. The 500 is specially designed by Fiat to get rid of traffic jams and there can be a smile on people’s face at parking lot. Apart from that, 500 is not best suited for highway drive. The handling is not so great and driving feels jittery. The diesel versions are bit noisy at lower speeds. But it reduces as the car speeds up.
The expectation with 2011 Fiat 500 is that it will do 0-60 mph in 9.3 seconds which is more than enough for American city drives. Fuel economy?? Well, Fiat 500 is rated 36 mpg. Other than these features, 500 has got iconic value for being one of the Fiat’s oldest models. This car is expected to be released in early winter of 2010.
