KZ1 is a german sports car produced by Ascari, it can reach 200 mph. The car is equipped with a highly tuned BMW S62 engine producing 500 hp with outstanding acceleration of 0-60 mph in just 3, 7 seconds. There were produced 50 KZ1 making it one of the most exclusive cars produced today. Each car requires 340 hours of handcrafting.
Ascari’s jewel has been adapted for racing to be used in the FIA GT3 European Championship. The race variant is named KZ1-R and uses the same BMW engine butt with thirteen horsepower. The R variant uses a six speed manual gearbox with a standard clutch and shift-lever, mounted to a carbon fiber monocoque chassis and a tubular steel rear frame with 19” wheels and cross-drilled brake disks with 6-piston racing calipers in the front and 4-piston in the rear. KZ1-R can accelerate from 0-60 mph in 3.2 seconds with half a second faster from the standard variant of the car. Ascari claims that it will reach 100 mph in about 8 seconds.
