Audi A3 is a small family car produced in Europe since 1996 from the German automaker Audi. The car was initially available only with a three-door hatchback presented in front and four wheel drive .The engines were starting from 1.6L I4 to 1.8 L I4 20v Turbo and a diesel engine 1.9L TDI I4.In the late 2000 A3 range got face lifted with new headlights and rear light clusters, other minor cosmetic changes, improved interior and a new six-speed manual gearbox. Audi’s ESP traction control and brake force distribution computer became standard equipment in some countries. In the 2003 Audi launched the second generation of A3 which was designed by Walter de’Silva, it featured a redesigned interior new petrol engines and a standard six-speed manual gearboxes. In mid 2003 new more sportive models were presented a 2.0 Turbo FSI producing 197 hp (147 kW) and a 3.2 VR6 engine with 247 hp (184 kW).In 2004 was presented a 5-door Sportback and in 2008 a Cabriolet .
