The Ram is an American build pickup truck manufactured by Chrysler Group. Dodge ram trucks have won the Motor Trend magazine’s Truck of the Year award three times. The last model was introduced in 2008.And was sold as the 2009 Dodge Ram 1500. The Ram is powered by 5.7 L HEMI V8 with output of 390 hp (290 kW) and torque of 552 Nm. Chrysler attempted to keep the Ram s competitive in the market by offering a new body style a four-door cab with a new suspension and the Rambox a storage system that allows secure storage in the truck’s bed walls.
The Ram has a few special versions’ one of which is the Ram SRT-10 which uses the Dodge Viper’s V10 engine 8.3L 22”wheels and lowered suspension and a body kit with spoiler. The SRT-10 Ram was the “Fastest Production Pickup” with speed of 155 mph (247 km/h) until in 2006 the record was broken by Maloo R8. Other special version is the Rumble Bee. The package was a limited sport-truck version of the Ram and consisted of lower body cladding 20 inch wheels, hood scoop and a specially trimmed interior.
