Jaguar XKR 2010 is more luxurious and faster than its previous models. The engine displacement is increased to 5.0 liters from previous 4.2 liters. The power has been increased by 100 hp. The maximum power this V8 supercharged engine sends to its rear wheels is 510 hp. The engine is married to six-speed electronically controlled automatic transmission which is very smooth and on-point. The 2010 Jaguar XKR can reach a speed of 60 mph in just 4.5 seconds and it can rip through a quarter-mile in 12.6 seconds. These figures make it quicker than BMW M6 as well as Porsche 911 Carrera S Cabriolet. Now coming to fuel economy, 2011 Jaguar XKR gets an EPA rating of 15 mpg in city and 22 mpg on highways and an average of 17 mpg.   Styling changes include LED tail lamps; cockpit is incorporated with a tick rotary gear selector. One more new feature of 2010 Jaguar XKR is the new Active Differential Control (ADC), which is designed so as to provide better traction and dynamic stability. ADC is fully automatic. This ADC uses a multi-plate clutch assembly designed to prevent excessive differential slip. This is different from traditional traction control system which uses brakes to handle differential slip after it has occurred.
