The Yeti is a mini SUV built by the Czech car company Skoda Auto. It was on the market in the middle of 2009. The car is five door with five seats and is the first entry of Skoda in the SUV market. Skoda Yeti is available in three trim levels Experience, Ambition and Track, in some countries they are called E,S,SE and Elegance. The Yeti has an impressive luggage capacity for its size aided by the VarioFlex seats from 405 liters to 1760 liters when the rear seats are removed. The car has a 5-star safety rating by the Euro NCAP. Three petrol engine choices are presented: 1.2 TSI with 103 hp and 175Nm 1.8 TSI with 158 hp and 250 Nm a 1.4 TSI with 123 hp and 210 Nm of torque. Diesel choices are all 2.0 TDI engine’s with power from 109 hp to 168 hp and torque from 250 to 350 Nm. Most of the engine’s are offered with six-speed manual transmissions , with a five speed manual being just for the front wheel version with the 109 hp TDI engine . The only available automatic transmission is the seven-speed Direct-Shift Gearbox which can be installed on the 1.2 TSI engine only.
