Since May 2009, is selling a slightly renovated Civic with changes in appearance, and mechanical equipment. This model can be chosen with three-door body (called “Type S”), five or four, the latter only with hybrid drive (Civic Hybrid ). There continues to be a sports version (‘ Type R ‘) body with three doors. The Civic is an alternative to models like the Ford Focus or Volkswagen Golf . Noted for its high stability, a very good touch driving and proper driving positions to people with different sizes. It is relatively large in certain measurements (not others) and its trunk is very large (485 l). Inside some decorative details vary, for example, metallic-looking finish center console and decorative molding (which have a darker tone). It has much legroom for rear seat passengers, a normal width and height are somewhat short for people of average height to sit upright. The rear seat can be folded in sections asymmetric (60/40) in two ways. All 2009 Civic have six standard airbags, stability control (VSA), active head restraints, climate control, trip computer and MP3 CD radio, among other things.
