The Ghost is a smaller sedan than the Phantom . It will be available later this year. It has a length of 5.40 m, ie practically the same as a Bentley Arnage . A Phantom four-door body version also is a convertible and a coupe – with a length between 5.83 and 6.08 m. The larger sedans from Audi, BMW and Mercedes-Benz are clearly shorter than the Rolls-Royce Ghost. It is derived from the Phantom, because its structure is steel, not aluminum. You may have many items of equipment that also has the BMW 7 Series (Rolls Royce is part of BMW since 2003), which until now were not available in any other model of Rolls-Royce. A detail of the bodywork is that the rear seats are positioned behind the amount that exists between the side windows and rear window. According to Rolls-Royce that detail gives more sense of privacy to the occupants. The rear seat bench is placed in a position much higher than those of the front seats. According to Rolls-Royce from the position of the rear seat passengers can see the figure on the radiator, the “Spirit of Ecstasy”. The engine of the Ghost is twelve-cylinder, 6.6 liter engine capacity. It has direct injection, two turbochargers and 571 hp. The engine is coupled with an automatic gearbox eight gears, manufactured by ZF. The seventh and eighth are up outburst: its development is so long that the car reaches its top speed (250 km / h) before the motor reaches its rated maximum speed (5250 rpm). The engine is mounted longitudinally and traction is at the rear wheels.
