

The 2011 Honda CR-Z coupe 2-seater sports was designed to demonstrate the potential performance road cars. A 1.5-liter V-Tec engine is the 4-cylinder engine and Honda’s hybrid is achieved with Integrated Motor Assist (IMA) technology. It has a small 13 hp (10 kW) electric motor that ultrafine works in parallel with combustion engine to add power during acceleration and energy recovery during deceleration. Energy is stored in a nickel 100 V. This system is actually the sixth revision of the original IMA, which premiered at the 2000 Insight. Official fuel economy rating of 31 mpg reaches mpg city/37 mpg combined highway/34 for manual transmission and 35/39/37 for the CVT version.
