The Invicta 12-90 is powered by the high-torque 4.5 liter Meadows engine, renowned for its outstanding power/weight ratio. A tuned Meadows 4.5 liter twin spark cylinder unit from a prewar air/sea rescue boat was used. A well-balanced drive-train was achieved by coupling strengthened Alvis 12/70 gears with a 3.81 rear axle ratio. Front and rear axles, suspension and breaks have been rebuilt using original parts. The original steering was rebuilt to a faster ratio. A Weyman-period tourer body with front-side helmet wings creates the right clime and style for driver and passenger alike to enjoy. This particular Invicta has entered in a series of VSCC contests lived up to high expectations by simply winning them all.
