

The Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow 2 was introduced during 1977 and featured an engine of 8-cylinder, 90 degree V configuration. It had a rear wheel drive along with 3 speed automatic gearbox and the wheelbase was around 120 inches. Other features include 5 seater, 4 door saloon, separate sub frames front and rear and steel monocoque. The car was able to reach a top speed of about 120 mph or 193 km/h. Along with gear selector was the switch for speed control and it also supported to maintain a chosen speed without using the accelerator pedal. The car had bumpers along with rubber inserts and edges that were made from polyurethane.
