The Peugeot 405 Break featured large range of engines such as 2 diesel powered units which was included immediately before the introduction of the car and stayed unchanged till early 90′s as the dashboard and the steering wheel were upgraded during that period. The car also had larger interior and boot which helped it to receive a good reception in the Europe and other countries. The Peugeot 405 Break has been still produced in places like Iran along with Khodro. The car also underwent a second stage up-gradation during the year 1993 which had a good soundproofing and dashboard was also included.
