The Pontiac Solstice SD-290 was revealed during the SEMA show in 2006 which is a single-seater that features an engine producing about 290 horsepower. Other features include KW Automotive coil-over suspension package, forged 19-inch wheels with Hoosier R6 racing tire, Solo Performance cat-back exhaust system, rear spoiler and six-piston aluminum calipers along with 13-inch rotors from the Stainless Steel Brake Company. The car also has removable racing-style steering wheel, Chrome fire extinguisher, driver’s roll bar, racing seat along with 4-point safety harness and Pegasus center console gauge package. The car had a less weight as there was windscreen only on the driver-side along with convertible top/hardware, HVAC and wiper system.
