

The Renault 5 Turbo is a hatchback automobile that featured a mid-mounted 1397 cc Cleon turbocharged engine that was able to produce 160 PS (118 kW; 158 hp) and about 163 ftlb (221 Nm) torque. The standard Renault 5 includes the same front-mounted engine which has been placed behind the driver in the mid-body of a modified Renault 5 chassis. The car was available as a rear-wheel drive than the normal version’s front-wheel drive. When the Renault 5 Turbo was introduced, it was the most powerful production french car and the first 400 production cars included 4 homologation which helped the car to compete in the international rallies.
