

The Fiat 501 which was introduced in 1919 and stayed in the market till 1926. It was the first car that was introduced after the World War I which was followed by sport versions S and SS. The Fiat 501 featured a straight 4-cylinder side-valve 1460 cc petrol engine that produced 23 hp along with a single carburetor and 4-speed manual transmission. The car had a tourer body along with a wheelbase of 265 cm (104.3 in) and the curb weight was about 1,000 kg (2,205 lb). It was a usual medium-sized motor car that became popular in Australia in the 1920s.
