

The Mercedes-Benz RECY is a concept car that was introduced in 2006 at the LA Design Challenge which was mainly based around environmentally friendly vehicles. The design of the car was hugely motivated by Riva hand-crafted wooden yachts and the high class eyewear. The Mercedes-Benz RECY featured a 4-cylinder Blu-Tec biodiesel engine. This concept from Mercedes-Benz was completely recyclable as was made from the sustainable resources and it was continually renewable vehicle. It also has a high-strength frame along with laminated wood shell to keep the passengers safe. The car also featured recyclable items such as wood, alloys, rubber and glass which can be used in roadsters construction.
