The Corvette ZR2 was a concept car which was also known as Big Doggie. It had a huge 454ci big block v8 OHV engine along with multi-port fuel injection which was just like the tuned port injection in 5.7L corvette. The Corvette ZR2 was able to provide 400 hp along with a 6-speed manual transmission along with electronic fuel injection from the year 1985-1991. The car which was based on the C4 Corvette was made for the study to get the performance of ZR-1 along with reduced cost including big block engine. In 2009 another prototype car was available at the Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale auction.
