The Maserati Mexico was introduced in 1996 and was produced till 1973 as a grand tourer. The car featured a 4.7 Litre V8 engine that was able make about 290 hp and a 5 speed automatic transmission along with rear wheel drive. The Maserati Mexico was able reach a top speed of 150 to 156 mph. It also had a servo assisted ventilated disc brakes for its wheels which is was used for the first time by the company. The car had a wheelbase of 2,640 mm, width of 1,730 mm, length of 4,760 mm, height of 1,350 mm and it weighed about 1,450 kg only.
