The Bugatti Type 101 was introduced during the 1950s and it featured a 3.3 L straight-8 engine along with a 4-speed manual transmission. About 6 chassis were developed after it was changed into Type 57 chassis prototype. The Bugatti Type 101 had a wheelbase of 3.3 m and the final model was built in 1965 as an attempt to revive marque. The car was kept at the Turin Motor Show and its further production plan was dropped due to shortage in finance. It has been the last original car from the Bugatti and only 7 units were produced till the year 1956.
