The Chevrolet Citation X-11 was available with a standard 2.5-liter 4 cylinder Iron duke engine and 2-bbl LE2 2.8-liter V6 engine as optional. The engine was capable of producing about 115-hp and it also had 4 speed overdrive manual transmission as standard and 3-speed automatic transmission as optional.
