The Toyota Classic was introduced in the year 1996 as a limited-production model which was similar to a Toyota AA and only 100 cars were sold by the company. The vehicle features a 2-litre 3Y-E engine that produces about 96 hp and 118 lbf-ft of torque along with a 4-speed automatic transmission. The Toyota Classic interior has been based on contemporary Toyota which also has leather to the seats. The exterior of the car was much more consistent which featured wood to the dashboard. The car was available as a 5-door hatchback and it was introduced to celebrate the 60th anniversary of Toyota AA.
