

The Daihatsu Consorte was available from 1969 to 1977 as a small sedan which was based on Toyota Publica. The car was available with a 1.0-litre engine and 1.2-litre engine during its production along with a 4-speed manual transmission. The Daihatsu Consorte had a wheelbase of 2,160 mm, length of 3,645 mm, width of 1,450 m, height of 1,380 mm and it also weighed about 710 kg only. The car was used as the reflection of newly developed affiliation with Toyota. Later, a 4-door sedan version was also introduced, but was unable to get the same attraction received by the other versions.
