The Ford Parklane was introduced in the year 1956 in United States for 1 year only. The 2-door station wagon was based on Ford Ranch Wagon and it featured a stainless steel side tick along with a well-appointed interior. The vehicle featured a 292-cid Thunderbird V-8 engine that was able to produce 200 hp along with a 4-barrel Holley carburetor. The Ford Parklane also had bright chrome plating around door windows which became its main identification and there were also chrome plates over the forward of the rear wheels. It also featured power brakes along with Master Glide power steering which gave very refined road manners.
