The 2011 Force India VJM04 is a Formula One racing car that has been built by Force India to participate at the 2011 Formula One season. The car features a naturally aspirated, mid-mounted 2,400 cc V8 engine along with a 7-speed semi-automatic transmission which also has a reverse gear and an electronic shift system. The 2011 Force India VJM04 has been developed carbon fiber composite monocoque including Zylon legality side anti-intrusion panels. The interior has been designed with torsion springs, dampers and an anti-roll bar assembly. It also features a rear suspension for the front along with a gearbox mounted torsion springs.
