The 2012 Jaguar C-X16 was first unveiled at the 2011 Frankfurt Auto Show as a concept car. The car features a 3.0-liter supercharged V-6 engine that is capable of producing about 375 bhp and 332 lb-ft of torque along with a hybrid electric drive producing 94 hp. The car also features an 8-speed gearbox which adds an Intelligent Start/Stop system. The hybrid operation gets electrical energy from a 1.6-kWh lithium-ion battery pack which is located behind the seats. The 2012 Jaguar C-X16 is expected to reach 0-60-mph in about 4 seconds and it also has IS/S which can shut the engine within 0.3 seconds.
