The 2009 Saab 9-7X is a midsize SUV that is available in 3 trim levels such as base 4.2i, midlevel 5.3i and high-flying Aero. The base 4.2i features a 4.2-liter inline 6-cylinder engine that produces 285 hp, the midlevel 5.3i has a 5.3-liter V8 that makes 300 hp and high-flying Aero features a 6.0-liter V8 engine generating 390 hp. All the models are available with 4-speed automatic transmissions and standard all-wheel-drive system.
