

The Mercedes-Benz 300SL Roadster was introduced in the year 1957 along with roll-up windows and convertible top. It features a 3.0 liter straight-6 engine that is capable of producing 115 hp and a top speed of 161 mph. The new injection system was the first to feature in the car which also helped it to become the fastest production car during that period. The Mercedes-Benz 300SL Roadster was built with steel along with aluminum bonnet and an all-aluminum outer skin was also available as an option. The car also offered a confortable driving because of its 4-wheel independent suspension and precised steering.
