The Pontiac Grand Safari is a full-size station wagon that was introduced from 1971 to 1978. The vehicle was available with a standard 301 or optional 403 V8 engine and later 350 V8 engine. It had a wheelbase of 127 inch, length of 19 feet and it also weighs about 5,400 pounds. The Pontiac Grand Safari was very unique with its clamshell tailgate design, power rear window was able to go inside the roof and tailgate dropped down into the floor. There was a grille and interior trim that similar to the one in the Bonneville and Grand Ville passenger car series.
