

The Pontiac Laurentian Convertible was introduced during the 1950s and it was available with a new 6-cylinder engine 283 cubic inch V-8 engine. The engine was able to produce more power and it was capable of reaching 22 miles with the gallon of gasoline. The Pontiac Laurentian Convertible also featured a power glide automatic transmissions and a 3-speed automatic transmission was also available. The vehicle was very much similar to the 1957 Chevrolet when compared to drive train, suspension and it had same frame. About 775 vehicles were sold and some of these models can be seen on the road even now.
