The 2012 Toyota GT 86 Coupe was first introduced at the Tokyo Motor Show and it has been completely based on new platform. The car features a 2.0-liter naturally-aspirated flat-4 engine that is capable of producing 200 hp and 151 lb-ft of torque along with a 6-speed manual or 6-speed automatic transmission. It also has a very sporty interior with flat-bottomed steering wheel and red stitching. The 2012 Toyota GT 86 Coupe also features navigation system, gray instrument panel, aluminum pedals, gauges with red neon and digital readouts. The car has a wheelbase of 2,570 mm, length of 4,240 mm, height of 1,285 mm and a center of gravity of 475 mm.
