The Blue Oval (Ford) has published technical data with a set of pictures with the American version of the 2012 Ford C-MAX, along with a more modern design, comfortable seats and more useful space which makes it the best car in its class in terms of efficiency. The new C-MAX is a family car that combines attributes of a compact minivan. Similar to Mazda5, the C-MAX introduces a number of unique features, including an exclusive industry like: hands-free, electric powered rear liftgate, versatile 5 seats configuration, two or five seats in the main cabin and two or three lower places, twinsliding doors and active park assist, the newest advanced system which automatically lead the vehicle to parallel parking and other options that will be developed by the Ford team.
Ford C-MAX 2012 is the American version of Grand C-MAX model sold in Europe and is available with two engine options as the 2.5-liter I4 engine connected to a 6-speed automatic transmission and 1.6-liter EcoBoost engine that uses direct high pressure injection technology, low-inertia turbocharging and Ti-VCT (Twin Independent Variable Camshaft Timing).
Inside, the Ford C-MAX 2012 has a wheelbase of 109.7 inches and a total length of 178 inches, has a 5 + 2 seating configuration as a first car as it has an electric rearhood controlled hands-free. Also, the 2012 Ford C-MAX Active Park Assist system has been modified and it also includes options likehands free, panoramic roof, HD Radio FM, a rear camera, dual zone air conditioning system and heated side mirrors.
