Audi RS4 2011 was spied during testing at the Nurburgring. It was given away by its large wheels and a more aggressive design. Audi RS4 will receive the same mechanics part as the RS5 Coupe model, the same chassis but it will have a very aggressive body kit which will improve the cars aerodynamics and also will help the car to gain a few percents with the massive air intakes mounted in the front bumper.
The new RS4 will be equipped with a V8 4.2 liter engine capable of developing a maximum output of 444 hp and 430 Nm of torque. This car will be available with an automatic transmission (the S-Tronic seven reports) in the beginning. The new model will have as direct rival the new C63 AMG and the M3 which is possible that it won’t have in the beginning an estate version.
The company sources indicate that the new RS4 will be available in all versions, so after launching, the performance sedan that will take its place will be the new S6 with its 440 hp and the sport coupe just remain the current RS5. The new Audi S6 will be available as sedan and wagon and will be launched next year in spring and summer of 2012, after launching the RS4 model.
Audi also plans launching the S7 and S8 model, but both of them are still in the concept stage. These models could be presented in September at the Frankfurt Motor Show to counter the new BMW M5 and the BMW 7 Series.
