The new Vauxhall Zafira 2011 has been officially unveiled, before the release in autumn, in Frankfurt. And the way it look, borrowing lines from Ampera’s avant-garde, it can only help the car to maintain good position in the large-sized world of the MPV segment!
Zafira Tourer 2011, comes with flexible solutions:
Because now has a “Tourer” in its name, the car is a dedicated to families to underscore Vauxhall technology, incorporated into this model. Thus, Flex7 seats now have a new design and improved flexibility: while the entire third row of seats can be folded flush with the trunk floor, second row design is entirely new: there is no seat, but three individual and separate seats, which can be folded flush with the floor and moved each other independently. Each plan can be slid longitudinally over a distance of 210 mm.
In addition, passengers in the second row of seats benefit from an optional sofa chair that provides a generous space and comfort to the sedan. Seat in the middle of the second row can be folded and rotated to provide passenger-seat side comfortable armrests. Moving in the longitudinal side of the seats, if needed is extended to 280 mm, 70 mm more than the standard version and with the 80 mm more than the current Zafira. In addition, the outer seats can slide by 50 mm towards the center of the cabin so that passengers can change their position whenever they choose.
Because it’s a family model, Zafira Tourer 2011 offers a load volume of 710 liters, for five-seat configuration (65 liters more than the current Zafira) and up to 1860 liters (40 gallons extra) with the rear seats folded.
