In the four years of its existence, the Passat CC has managed to attract no less than 270,000 customers. Surprisingly for many, if we refer that in essence it is a more elegantly dressed Passat. It seems that flavored niche sites in case of the sedan coupe works on prices of 30000 – 40000 euros, not only in the category of the CLS or A7.
The front is a reinterpretation of the lines that Volkswagen used the last three years and CC took the style from the classic Passat, the grille and sober headlights that are now using LED daytime running lights. The back of the car keeps the oblong taillights, but their appearance were redesigned in keeping with the pattern range.
The interior does not have significant changes, but the standard equipment is now enriched with bi-xenon headlights, among with the driver fatigue and the RCD 310 audio system. The engine range remains the same so far, consisting of the 160, 210 and 300 hp TSIs and from the 140 to 170 hp TDIs. The new Volkswagen Passat CC will hit the market in the early next year.
Technically, it does not have been made many changes, so we mention that they just added a Stop / Start system for the diesel engines. The official launch of the new model will take place at Los Angeles Auto Show and the European sales debut in Germany in February 2012.
