The Transparent factory in Dresden, Germany, the Volkswagen produces one of the finest cars in the world: the Phaeton 2010. The quality and comfort of the new limo (four-wheel drive and air suspension as standard) set new standards in its segment. Volkswagen, the largest car producer in all Europe and China, made the new Phaeton “more perfect” now. The new top of the range Volkswagen will be presented for the first time at the Auto Show in Beijing, China (April 27 – May 2, 2010).
Its contours were defined by Volkswagen DNA design created by Walter de Silva - the design director of the German group. In addition to new front, completely redesigned, the design team was able to refine the model. In this process, the elegant Phaeton has obtained a more powerful aspect, given by the changes of the back and its shape.
At the same time, the new Volkswagen Phaeton comes on the market with technical innovations. These systems include Dynamic Light Assist (provides changes to the main light on a camcorder) and navigation, which optionally can be connected online at Google Maps. Additionally, the front camera can ”see” road signs and those referenced to the speed limits are displayed on the instrument panel and on the center console screen. The system also allows recognition of the display signs ”prohibited overtaking” - first on the world in this field.
