Audi presented at the Paris Motor Show 2010 which provides an interpretation of futuristic concept into a new dimension: Audi quattro concept: an 2.5 TFSI engine which develops 408 hp, light weight body and quattro drive, after the latest news brought on an interview in a car magazine.
In 1980, at the Geneva Motor Show, Audi presented the first time a car whose name would become more than a symbol for a long line of successes for the producer. Audi’s Quattro is also a standard combination of motor sport qualities and a winner in everyday’s practice. His performances were subsequently transferred from S and RS variants.
Based on the RS5 version, the Quattro has a smaller wheel base and a height reduced by 150 mm and 40 mm, a length of 4.28 meters and a width of 1.86 meters. The body, a big part of it, is made of aluminum, but the doors, bonnet and other elements that contribute to the performance of this concept are made from carbon. All this leads to a mass of 1,300kg, 500 kg less than the Audi RS5.
Aesthetic differences that distinguish the TT-RS from the classic TT are the enlarged air intakes, rear spoiler, LED lights and dual wheels with six spokes. Inside, the TT-RS stands out through the steering wheel and sports seats.
Audi TT-RS will be available in European markets starting this summer. More information about the new version of Audi will receive on Monday.
