The new 3008 was the main attraction of the French manufacturer stand at the Geneva Motor Show 2009.
Its world premiere, the new Peugeot 3008 was a unique occurrence at the Geneva Motor Show 2009, for several reasons. Firstly because it has at least a strange body. You can not figure out if we speak of a van or a compact crossover or fuller. If the foreign DNA of the Peugeot is easily identifiable on the exterior, inside the atmosphere is almost German. Or even British if we look at the central switches similar to those on the Mini.
The center console surrounds the driver in the style of the Audi, but the design and lines are used 100% in French style. Peugeot did the economy and came up with three models in the exhibition, two of them were available to the visitors. Well, we look at the situation another way: Peugeot had no other premiere.
Perhaps the French were caught by surprise by the appearance of the first pics with the new completed 3008 and therefore were limited in providing a few pieces of information. We know only that there are two available engines for the beginning, the 1.6 liter gasoline and the 2.0 liter diesel, both supercharged.
We can tell from the pictures provided by some sources that the new Peugeot 3008 comes with gadgets such as head-up display, adaptive cruise control and lane keeping, offered the most likely as an option. The official launch will take place most likely in two months at the Geneva Motor Show.
