Hyundai announced its new CD-segment model for Europe: Hyundai i40.
Developed under the codename ’VF’, the model marks a new phase in the evolution of the Hyundai brand and product level dedicated to the European market.
i40 will have its world premiere at the Geneva Motor Show in March 2010 and promises to steer the public perception of Hyundai to the aspirational level, the dynamic design adopted for the highest quality, performance and specially, other specifications.
The new i40 will be launched for the beginning in the wagon version, following to be launched the sedan version after a few months later.

We expect that the quality level required for the Hyundai i40 model will continue rising in the Europeans market image and attract new customers to the brand, “said Allan Rushforth, the Europe Vice President Hyundai Motor.
Designed in Hyundai’s research and development center in Rüsselsheim, Germany, the new Hyundai i40 is the first segment belonging to CD-class specially developed for European customers. The continuous ‘fluidic sculpture’ line design, adopting representative hexagonal grid and bold forms of the new Hyundai range, the model gives a sporty appearance, dynamic, harmoniously integrating the sides, front and rear.
The new i40 is also the most innovative European Hyundai dedicated to the public, providing environmentally friendly technologies developed under the Blue DriveTM program and choice of engines to the highest standards of performance, fuel economy, plus extremely low emissions.
