

The 2012 Renault Twingo RS was first unveiled at the 64th Frankfurt International Motor Show as a high performance version and it is the first car to have a new iconic design. It is available with a 1.2-liter turbocharged petrol engine that is capable of producing about 100 hp along with a F1-style design. The car will also be available with a distinctive Renaultsport yellow along with a new aggressively styled front grille including integrated fog lamps and F1 style blade in the bumper. The 2012 Renault Twingo RS also features rear roof spoiler and two air vents added in the rear wheel arches which will help in cooling the brakes. The interior has been developed with new steering wheel, seats with yellow stitching, Renaultsport Monitor onboard telemetry system available as optional and rev-counter will have a high gloss black finish. It will also have a new set of 16 inch alloy wheels, new slim grille and redesigned bumper along with a pair of large round lights. The car also features newly designed body kit, door mirror housings and Renaultsport spoiler. The car has a wheelbase of 2,365 mm, length of 3,600 mm, width of 1,655 mm, height of 1,470 mm and it also weighs around 2,205 lb. The 2012 Renault Twingo RS is expected to enter the market in early 2012. The car will also feature new sports new bumpers and a larger Renault badge along with redesigned front as well as rear light clusters.
