The 2011 Skoda Rapid is a new version from the company that was introduced first at the Geneva Auto Show. The car is available with a 1.6 liter petrol engine that is capable of producing about 105 bhp at 5250 rpm and torque of 153 Nm at 3800 rpm. The car also has a better fuel efficiency compared to other similar versions as it provides a mileage of 15.4 kmpl for the petrol version. The 2011 Skoda Rapid interior has been developed with high quality fabric/leather upholstery which offers a high-class experience for the passengers as well as the drivers. It also features a dash-board that has been created with the best quality plastics along with console with ore symmetry and instrument cluster. The safety features include dual airbags, anti-lock braking system along with EBD, power steering and power windows. The car has a long wheelbase with increased leg-room to make the passengers feel more comfortable. The exterior has been based on the Volkswagen Vento, but this version has more symmetrical appearance as well as sturdy body. The 2011 Skoda Rapid also has front and rear fog lamps, body colored outside rear view mirrors, parallel front grills and body colored front and rear bumpers. It is available with body colored door handles, roof integrated antenna and attractive alloy wheels/ wheel covers. Other important features include tilt and telescopic steering wheel, height adjustable driver seat, rear defogger, front center armrest and engine immobilizer.
