

The 2012 Lotus Evora IPS where IPS means Intelligent Precision Shift is the first version that is available with a first automatic transmission from the company. It also features a 3.5 liter V-6 engine that is able to generate about 276 hp and 258 lb-ft of torque along with a 6-speed automatic transmission. The car is capable of reaching 0-60 mph in about 5.2 seconds along with a top speed of around 155 mph. The central shifter is not available instead it has P, R, N, S or D on the center console which is able to flip up and down through the anodized black paddles on steering wheel. The 2012 Lotus Evora IPS also has a wheelbase of 101.4 inch, length of 170.9 inch, width of 72.8 inch, height of 48.1 inch and it also weighs about 3200 lb. The car has an estimated fuel economy of about 17 mpg in the city and 26 mpg in the highway. The flowing steering and composed chassis are really the best features in the car which features new free-flow exhaust. The throttle is responsive and the shifts are quicker as well as sharper. During the Drive, the paddles may override gear changes and it can revert back to its full auto operation when no action is taken. The major disadvantage in this car is its digital instrumentation that is very difficult to read and there are no storage nets for sunglasses or phones.
