

The 2013 Mazda RX-9 is a new sports car that is expected to enter into the market by the end of next year. It features an engine which will be in 800cc x 2 configuration that will be able to generate about 300 hp along with a 20 percent increase in the fuel economy compared to its previous version. The car is also expected to be available with a Honda-style gas or electric hybrid system along with regenerative braking system which will be able to charge the batteries during coasting and decelerating. It will also feature a engine stop/start system which is expected to will help support in improving the fuel economy. The 2013 Mazda RX-9 will be available with a new twin-clutch, 2-pedal 6-speed transmission along with a twist which will help the drivers to set revs at which the clutches engage. This version will be developed on the chassis of Mazda MX-5 and it will also weigh about 1250 kilos only. It will also have a sporty appearance, front grille, signature wing and new headlamps along with LED lights. The interior will be available with leather sports seats and a sporty steering wheel. The 2013 Mazda RX-9 will feature a 17 inch or 18 inch wheels, stability control, traction control and 4-wheel disc brakes along with ABS. The car will be introduced as a concept version during this year and the first units will be available during the next year.
