

The Bentley Continental DC is a special edition green power car that was introduced in the year 2008. It is available with a 24v wheelchair motor along with two 12-volt batteries which is capable of producing about 240 watt of power and 7 Nm of torque. The car also features a continuous one-wheel drive along with a Nuvinci CVP transmission and it was able to reach a top speed of around 40mph. It has been specially designed to have a lightness and maximum power efficiency. The Bentley Continental DC has a wheelbase of 1300 mm, length of 1420 mm, width of 1000 mm, height of 500 mm and it also weighs about 120 Kg. The car is available as a one-seater Continental DC that has a carbon fiber chassis along with low resistance tires. The interior has been developed with some simple features such as seat and dashboard, trimmed steering wheel and touch screen driver information panel which are under development. The exterior features include bright chromed grille and Bentley wheel badge. The two 12-volt batteries are capable of producing 2 hours capacity per battery set and the car also has Zero CO2 emissions. It also features rear 160mm ventilated disc that has been fitted on the single wheel and Anti-lock system. The car was also planned to participate into the Formula 24+ season which has an eight 90-minute endurance races. The competition consists of cars that feature identical 24-volt electric motors.
