The Mitsubishi Raider was introduced in 2005 and was produced till the year 2009 as a pickup truck. The vehicle was available with 2 types of engine during its production period such as 4.7 L PowerTech V8 engine that was able to generate about 230 hp along with 290 lb-ft of torque and another a 3.7 L PowerTech V6 engine that is capable of producing about 210 hp along with 210 lb-ft of torque, but only 3.7 L V6 engine was available from the year 2008. It was introduced with a rear or 4-wheel drive and also features 4-speed automatic transmission or 5-speed automatic transmission or 6-speed manual transmission. The Mitsubishi Raider has a wheelbase of 3,335 mm, length of 5,550 mm, width of 1,821 mm and a height of 1,742 mm. The vehicle had a bad run in the market when it first introduced where about 9,861 units were developed in the first and only 297 were developed later on. Totally, about 8,200 units are expected to have been sold by the company which is really disappointing. Another model also known as Mitsubishi Street Raider was also introduced at the SEMA automotive show later during the same year when the standard version was unveiled. This model was available with 22 inch custom wheels, lowered stance and custom dual exhaust. The vehicle is actually known to be a recycled version of the Dodge Raider SUV that was available from 1987 to 1990.
